“I was introduced to Katie in September 2020, I was 8 month postpartum (emergency c-section). I wanted to work out and regain my strength and fitness again but was too intimidated to go to a gym.
From our first conversation I loved it! Katie is great at explaining and showing you the correct technique, building your confidence, and encouraging you to push yourself safely. As the weeks progressed (started walking then x 1 then x2 workout sessions a week) I noticed a difference in how I felt not just physically but also mentally. Exercise for me is a real therapy in every sense.
Resistance/ weight training is something I had never attempted as naively I thought it was just for bulky men at the gym. Oh how wrong I was, I am now a convert. I don’t know why I was so scared.
After a few weeks I decided to get some nutritional advise from her too, so Katie created an at home workout & nutrition plan. Firstly, I didn’t realise that I hardly ate! I 100% wasn’t fuelling myself correctly and was shocked how much I was “meant” to eat to fuel my body. It only took a couple of days to adjust and realise and I haven’t looked back since.
